In celebration of Women around the world, the British High Commission held their annual Ambassador for a Day contest, where our very own Augusta won. Out of all of the contestants, 12 were selected and Augusta was one. Winners had the opportunity to receive a two day training on the Affirmative Action Gender Equality Bill, where they learned how to speak in public and how to advocate for the bill.

During the awards ceremony, winners had the opportunity to meet with the British High Commissioner, the Canadian High Commissioner, and the French Ambassador for Ghana. It was a very fruitful event and all of the young ladies will be proactive in their communities and homes to see the Affirmative Action Gender Equality Bill is passed this 2024.
